those seeking a simple/more organic form of church.
My experience with the reality of intentional expansion of home churches began very early in my Christian life. I had actually known the Lord for just over 2 years when I was sent out from a local fellowship to help […]Read more...
Anita stunned the room! We’ve held a couple of round tables in our home on the topic of men and women working together as co-equals in the Kingdom. One of the subjects we tackle is justice for women around the world. At the end of a discussion on justice a couple of weeks ago, Anita Scott, a school teacher who[…]Read more...

H2H has all the usual “mundane” expenses for staff, phone, web services, professional help (CPA, lawyer), bank and government fees, and so on. These are necessary, but not “exciting.” Your help with these mundane areas through regular giving makes a huge difference! Below are a few of the more exciting things that H2H has helped fund over the last few years.
How much goes to these types of projects? Below is the percentage of donations given to things like those listed above for the last four years. Additionally each of the above required money being spent on the more “mundane” costs of keeping H2H running.
2008 - 26%
2009 - 85%
2010 - 55%
2011 - 34%
Lower percentages are primarily a function of lower total donations for the year. Basic costs are about the same regardless of donations, so they account for more of the total in years with less giving.
Much of what we have done is in the form of matching funds. By doing this, we help those who show sufficient enterprise and responsibility to raise some money, and we ensure that those doing the work can take ownership. We will help them do it, but we won’t do it for them. This is a natural outgrowth of simple church “theology.” In other words, we will teach people to fish, and we will help them buy fishing gear – then they do the fishing.
Please help us to do all of this and more - we depend on your donations!
